Perfect for single or double (French) retractable screen doors, sliding glass doors, patio screen doors and sliding windows. Comes with matching color, self-drilling screws (4). For Retractable Screen Doors:

Install two slide bolts (one top, one bottom) for each retractable screen door to be held in place (closed position) to give added security. Mark slide pin location on top and bottom of doorway, setting plastic casing about 1/2″ away from surface that will receive the actual pin. Drill 2 holes. Insert screws. Tighten. Set sliding window in closed or partially open position (if secure ventilation option is desired), then mark circles around each extended pin, making sure pins are aligned (if two are being used). Drill 3/16″ holes in aluminum, plastic or wood frames. Extend and retract pins into holes to test for smooth operation.

For retractable screens on French doors, install 2 pins on preferred fixed screen side, to allow opening and closing of main access side retractable screen door. When not in use, unlock both pins and retract both screen doors into corresponding housings for protection of screen mesh.

For Sliding Windows:

One slide pin lock can be mounted at top of window frame out of children’s reach (optional) and one at bottom of window. Mark slide pin location on top and bottom of window, setting plastic casing about 1/2″ away from surface that will receive the actual pin. Drill 2 holes. Insert screws. Tighten. Set sliding window in closed or partially open position (less than 4″ if secure ventilation option is desired), then mark circles around each extended pin, making sure pins are aligned (if two are being used). Drill 3/16″ holes in aluminum, plastic or wood frames. Extend and retract pins into holes to test for smooth operation.

For Sliding Patio Screen Doors (on wheels):

One slide pin lock can be mounted at top of screen door frame out of children’s reach (optional) and one at bottom of screen door. Mark slide pin location on top and bottom of sliding screen door, setting plastic casing about 1/2″ away from surface that will receive the actual pin. Drill 2 holes. Insert screws. Tighten. Set sliding screen door in closed position, then mark circles around each extended pin, making sure pins are aligned (if two are being used). Drill 3/16″ holes in aluminum, plastic or wood frames. For Sliding Glass Doors:

To be mounted on interior side of door. One slide pin lock can be mounted at top of glass door frame out of children’s reach (optional) and one at bottom of glass door. Mark slide pin location on top and bottom of sliding glass door, setting plastic casing about 1/2″ away from surface that will receive the actual pin. Drill 2 holes. Insert screws. Tighten. Set sliding door in closed position, then mark circles around each extended pin, making sure pins are aligned (if two are being used). Drill 3/16″ holes in aluminum, plastic or wood frames. Extend and retract pins into holes to test for smooth operation.
