This motorized unit comes with a manually-operated override gear box and strong galvanized steel hand crank in case of emergency (e.g. when there is no electricity during a blackout or after a storm). Full cassette awnings are usually installed on a flat wall, beam or other solid structure. Custom brackets are available for either soffit mount, or roof mount applications if needed.
